One of our fellow Zaar members made this for Bunko this week - AWESOME! I agree with Jennifer - better than the real thing. I took one home because I did not get to eat one during the evening. After I ate it, I wished I had another. She did not put the honey over the top as instructed, but very yummy! I definitely will make these. I made these myself this time for Bunko. What a hit! Even people who don't like Baklava loved these. Did not use the honey as a garnish though. They are adequately sweet without it.

I served this at my Greek Night Party. They were wonderful and so easy too! I even messed up by forgetting to put the brown sugar in the glaze and it still came out a winner. It was so sweet that I decided to not use the honey garnish and no one missed it. I will definitely be making these again. Thanks Jennygal, I hoped you have tried them by now!

These really are wonderful. My son married a Greek girl, and I've been trying to make things that have a Greek flair. These are a much easier option that trying to make the real Baklava, and I think it's just as good, or better. I actually didn't have a lemon when I made them the first time and substituted about 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. They were still great, and I'm not sure if having lemon zest or even the lemon juice would be missed if it were left out. Very easy and good!

These were fabulous! Very easy to make (made with a Greek dinner) and tasted great! In fact, we all thought it was better than the real thing, which I find after a few bites starts to become "too much" - not so with this recipe. A keeper!

I had this hanging around and finally decided to make it for company. I got it from another source and couldn't find it. I decided to look here and found the same recipe. I felt it needed to be comented on and reviewed somewhere. A definite 5 star in both ease of preparation and taste. Everyone raved about it. I was doubtful that it would be as good as the 'real time consuming one' but it was declared by many as better. I couldn't find the tub of sugar cookies so used two rolls instead and it worked out great. This is definitely on my list the next time I make a Greek dinner. MaryAnne EDIT: I mixed up the sugar dough source. For THIS one I did NOT use 2 cookie rolls but the pouch that was called for
