I've been searching for this recipe. I found it years ago in Better Homes and Gardens and lost it recently. It's a family favorite.
I know you won't believe me but I had that very same magazine and cut out that recipe years ago. It is a tried and true staple when corn is ripe in my backyard . Those were the days, tough, a young hungry family and a quick to .make nourishing meal. Thank you.
This is something my mom used to make when I was growing up and so it's exciting now to be able to make it for my family, who loves it as much as I do.
My daughter took my recipes and was putting them in a book. This one was never returned to me. I made it by memory but missed a few things.<br/>i was so glad I found it. It is great fast and easy. Thanks
This was a surprise recipe for my husband, who loved it. Between the two of us, the dish was empty by the time we said our Thanksgiving. That gives it five stars.
I grew up on this recipe...my mom made it for years and now I'm making it. Thanks for posting it, I had forgotten some of the steps. This recipe still works even if you only have 1 lb of ground beef and regular cottage cheese that you beat with a stick blender (but then bake it for 45 minutes).
Pretty yummy and easy to make. A different flavor. My husband thought it would be good over mashed potatoes, so that's how we ate the leftovers. He was right.
This is very easy to make and pleases the entire family. I loved it.
