Cucumber Sauce

2 cups of sauce
ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
- 1 small cucumber, peeled and chopped (about 1 C)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
directions
- Blend well.
- Cover and chill 6-24 hours.
- Serve with gyros or other tasty sandwich.

It Seem this was the only Recipe I could Find for Cucumber sauce. I know they use this sauce in store to sell with pre-made gyro's But I am making homeade Gyro's Just didn't want to make the sauce,Great substitute for people like me who hate the site of yogurt. Great Recipe I added garlic as well and followed the recipes for the Tzatziki Sauce just used sour cream instead. -
Excellent! Very simple and quick to prepare. I did shred the cucumber and then wring it out in a clean kitchen towel so that a lot of the moisture was gone - also added a shake or two of garlic powder. -
Fabulous. Works great on turkey sandwiches too. Big hit as appetizers for holidays or parties.

This sauce was the PERFECT topping to homemade gyros (recipe # 81048). Extremely simple and oh so delicious!
