Delicious! We really loved the dry rub and feta on this steak. I allowed the steaks to marinate for about 5 hours with the rub on them before cooking. I then grilled them on the barbeque and put the feta cheese, olives and lemon juice on while they were still on the grill. This allowed the cheese to get soft...yum! You will love the aroma of this steak when you pan fry it. I could not wait to take a bite out of it. I squeezed a piece of lemon on the steak when I turned the heat off, but I left the steak in the pan to rest for a minute. Pictured with the steak is Red Bell Pepper Couscous. Great stuff! I`m not big on meat but go ahead and add lemon, cheese and olives and wow! Wake those taste buds. I didn`t use the salt enough in the feta and olives which I did rinse to remove some salt. made for the Whine and Cheese of ZWT 6 Thanks.
Delicious! I used a cheaper cut than rib-eyes, but I can imagine how much better it would be with those :) Very simple, and lots of flavor for being such a quick recipe. Thanks! Made for ZWT6.
Loved the flavor of the olives and feta cheese atop a grilled rib steak. Just be sure to add the lemon juice just before serving as it will turn the meat an unappetizing gray color if allowed to sit. So, if you are not serving it right away, serve with a lemon wedge. Made for ZWT 6.
OMG Fabulous! I followed the advice of the poster, and grilled my steaks....it was a wonderful summer night on the Gulf Coast, so why not? The seasoning was wonderful, and the feta and olive topping was icing on the cake! Diner....thanks so much for sharing this lovely steak recipe!
