Delicious salad despite being very basic and simple!! We have a chain restaurant here in Florida called "Bonefish Grill" and their house salad includes pine nuts and that is where I found I love toasted pine nuts in salads, so good, definitely don't skip them!!! I wasn't sure what Cos lettuce was so I clicked on the highlight and found: it's said to have originated on the Aegean island of Cos, romaine is also called Cos lettuce, learn something new everyday, lol!!! Thanks for sharing a great salad recipe. Made for ZWT9.

I cut down to 2 servings using romaine lettuce and scallions. This is a nice simple salad and dressing that was very easy to make. I served it with Falafel Patties - Diabetic Friendly and Arabian Rice Aroz Mofalfal for a light and satisfying supper. Thanks for posting Jubes. Made for Zwizzle Chicks for ZWT6.

Went well with our main dish Ricotta, Tomato and Basil Torte and no competing of flavors. Are green onions called green shallots in Australia? That's new to me. Very simple and basic. Fresh dill from the garden! I can in this case overlook the lack of color. Thanks for posting. Reviewed for ZWT #6
