This really didn't do it for me. The lemon taste was very, very strong and it took way longer than 20 minutes to cook. We couldn't eat much of it because it was like eating a lemon.

I added some sliced white onion, with some brine cured ripe green olives. The lemon I increased to 1/2 cup. Very delicious!

Very nice ,a lovely mix of flavours.as a small variation I added some finely chopped sundried tomatos whan I added the Oregano.

It has a wonderful taste. I found it very easy to make. It says it only takes 25 minutes to make but I found it took longer. Try adding carrtos to it, not only does it give it more colour but it taste great too. If you are going to make it for 3 people, make the 4 serving one. People will eat it right up.

I found this recipe on another website and have made this for years. If you use chicken thighs or drumsticks, you'll want to increase your cooking time. I usually cook mine for 90 minutes or less depending on the amount of chicken or if they're boneless like this recipe.

I love this dish. My hubby said "what ever you are making smells really good!!" I knew a greek family that made this and I loved it then.. It's still so good!!!
