"Posted for ZWT #6's tour of Greece, Ouzo can be served straight in a shot glass or over ice in an old-fashioned or highball glass with a pitcher of water to dilute to taste. Ouzo is also an ingredient in several cocktails. Here is a summer drink where you can tailor the potency by altering the amount of lemonade."

• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1 ounce ouzo
• 1 dash blue curacao or 1 dash a red raspberry liquor, for color
• lemonade

directions

1. Pour ouzo and cordial into a highball glass with ice, top off with lemonade.

What a fabulous cocktail! I really enjoy Ouzo drinks, and I think the lemon juice in this recipe added an element that makes this drink stand out among all the rest. I used my favorite Old Fashioned Lemonade recipe for the lemonade ingredient. And I think that helped to make this a winning recipe that is going right into my "keeper" folder. Made his for my ouzo loving boyfriend. I used Recipe #23038 and made a quick lemonade, I used store lemon juice since I was mixing it with things. He loved it, it gave him that friday afterwork relaxation he needed. Thanks for posting. Made for ZWT 6.
