"Greek-style feta and olive spread served with hamburgers in pita bread! Use whatever kind of ground meat you like for the hamburgers (beef, lamb, turkey). We have made these with ground turkey with great results."

  2. Wow, these were great. What a different way to prepare burgers. The sauce was really a nice change of pace for burgers. Served with oven baked potato fries. Made for ZWT6.

  3. I loved this burger!!! The sauce was great and I really enjoyed the pita. I'd never had one before and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. I used black olives, tomato, lettuce and white onions. I served the burger with fries and cucumber slices. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT 6.

  4. Always having a supply of (homemade) hamburger patties in the freezer, lunch was a breeze for this working mom today! I took out the patties before I went to work, put together the topping while I was grilling the burgers, toasted the pitas and assembled. Couldn't have been easier - or tastier. The kids thought they were way cool (even in Greece we're traditionalists and I usually use buns for my burgers). Thanks.

  5. I may never eat a hamburger in a bun again! These were so easy- while the burgers are cooking you make the sauce, and before you know it, dinner is served. The sauce gives it just that little something extra to make them special. Made for ZWT 6 by an Unruly Under the Influence.
