12 strawberries, washed and roughly chopped
(or any other fresh fruit)
nuts, chopped and toasted
(optional)
Directions:
1
Put a few large spoonfuls of yogurt into 4 small glasses or ice cream bowls. Drizzle each with about 1 Tbs. honey. Add strawberries on top then sprinkling with nuts.
Was so looking forward to some nice sweet strawberries but at last is still early spring and could only get hot house raspberries which were still very tasty with the yogurt, honey and some toasted pecans. This is such a tasty and healthy dessert that we will be enjoying a few weeks down the road when strawberries are in full swing. Thanks for the post.

Wonderful and quick. A nice late night snack. I use Balkan (thick) yogurt, local unpasteurised honey, strawberries or blueberries (good as well) and blanched slivered almonds which I toast in a dry pan. I will make this again with strawberries probably. Made for ZWT6 Greece/Cyprus region, for my team, The Ya Ya cookerhood.

I happened to have all of the ingredients on hand and remembered this recipe being recommended in the Best of 2010 game. This made for a perfect snack (treat, really!). Yum. :)
