Very nice salad, wonderful Greek salad dressing. I don't know what is most authentic, but I missed pepperoncinis that I have had with every Greek salad I ever ate at a restaurant; I would list them at least as an optional ingredient. Made for Zaar Stars Tag.

Perfect! I used 3/4 cup of olive oil. Thanks Kittencal. I will be making this again and again.

This is a fantastic greek salad; probably the best one I have tasted on zaar. I reduced the salad in 1/2 to serve 4 as a side salad. It was perfect...also, I was not able to let it sit for 2 hours and it still tasted great!

Delicious! I used 3/4 cup of oil and it turned out fab! For a change, I chopped all my salad ingredients in a food processor (with a little bit of the dressing, not too much or it will be soggy) and stuffed it in large jumbo pasta shells sprinkled with some Parmesan cheese. Delicious!

Thanks for sharing! I made this salad for the family and it got rave reviews. Only thing I changed was that I mixed romaine and spring mix for the greens. Thanks!

Delicious! I reduced the oil and will do so even further next time and upped the vinegar to suit my taste. A definite keeper!

Thanks for a great recipe. I have this for lunch a few times a week. When I made this the first time, I didn't have the dried basil, so I used the dried Italian herbs. It comes out wonderful every time.

We tried this tonight and let me tell you it is better than the dressing that the greek place has here. I didn't think I could ever duplicate that one until now. The only thing I did was to add fresh parsley, as I had plenty from other recipes I had been preparing. Really great tasting. Thanks again Kittencal for a fantastic recipe.

This was very good. I used a bit of spinach and added some cooked beets. I will certainly make this again. Thanks

yummo! The dressing is perfect! I sometimes sub baby spinach leaves for the rommaine, but the dressing really is bang on!

Kittencal there is not a recipe that I have tried of yours that has not been 5 star for me. I think I need an extra lifetime to try your wonderful recipes but meanwhile I could die one happy and well-fed person (lol).

This was a great salad. I made the dressing exactly as directed early in the day so the flavors could meld. For the salad, I changed a couple of things just based on our preferences...subbing green onions for the red, and roasted red pepper for the green! Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

I was asked for the recipe by everyone at Christmas dinner. Loved it and I think I know it has already been requested again

It was good, but lacked 'zing'. I had to add a lot of extra lemon juice.

Good, everybody ate it, nobody raved about it. Missing something but I can't put my finger on what it is as everything for a greek salad seems to be there. I'll tweak on it. Definitely worth making again.
