"These should be a good low fat alternative to fatty chips and they would be good with Mediterranean dips and hummus."

 1. I loved how different these pita crisps were. I really enjoyed the lime flavor and actually wish there had been more! The chili flakes were such a perfect complement to the lime. Yummy. Thanks!

 2. This is so yummy and different than plain grilled pita. I didn't measure the lime zest and chili flakes. I zested it on top of the pita breads and same thing for the chili flakes. Thanks Sarah :) Made for the Zwizzle Chicks of ZWT

 3. These were great! I had to cut down a wee bit (1/4 tsp.) on the chili flakes as we had some "babies" in the crowd. LOL I did as another reviewer suggested and mixed the zest and the chili flakes into the oil and then brushed the pitas with that. Made with recipe #424548. A perfect appy before dinner! Thanks for posting Sarah. Made for ZWT 6.

 4. Very tasty!! They did not last long though, the next day they were terrible! So make sure you eat them up right away!!

 5. Delicious, and I would agree, zesty! We made these to go along with Mama's Kitchen's Hope's Bean Dip and they were wonderful and easy! I used whole wheat mini pitas and that worked out great for us! **Made for ZWT4**

I became a widow at the age of 27 in 2004 but have managed to fall in love again and was married again on July 19, 2008. I have a double major honors degree in sociology and politics and am slowly working my way through a Masters. I am a wanabee writer but until that dream becomes a reality I work in internet marketing where I build websites for profit. So, it is nice to come to a site like this and just enjoy being on the internet rather than using it as a work environment. I am a BBW (big woman) but over the past two years I have lost over 80lbs and am working my way down the scales slowly but steadily. These days, I am trying to eat a lot less meat. So, I am trying to have as many vegetarian recipes in the week as I can manage. I have started a blog - Weekend Carnivore where I blog about trying to eat a mostly vegetarian diet. I share a lot of my discovered recipes there. If I make one of your vegetarian recipes and I managed to take a good photo of it, chances are I will blog about it and tell everybody how much I enjoyed it.
