      The sauce is beautiful, really tasty. We used some sliced veal which turned out very tender. We also rolled the gyros then toasted in a cafe press, didn't even use foil. Fabulous, fun making and easy and everyone enjoyed them, thank you!

      Gyros are one of my favorite delights. This recipe kicks it up a notch with the addition of steak! Delicious. Great flavors. I will be making this again and again!!! Thanks so much for posting this recipe!

      i've always loved gyros but never made one til now...i'm so glad i did!! the sauce is great & even better the next day! made for zwt4.

      Outstanding!! I rubbed the steak with a seasoning blend, allowed it to rest for 30 to 45 minutes before grilling. I did follow Wildflour and added cucumber to the sauce. The pitas were served topped with red onion slices and bell pepper. Made for *ZWT 4*

      These were fantastic!!! The only things I did different were to add the chopped cucumber to the sauce, and did not add feta to the sauce. My hubby doesn't care for feta, so I crumbled some on top for mine! :) Didn't get to add my tomatoes though, had to pitch them due to the salmonella outbreak! :( But they were AWESOME!! Thanks for a fantastic recipe!! :) Made for the ZWT4
