  • In a small bowl combine the first 5 ingredients.
  • Refrigerate.
  • In separate bowl, combine seasonings.
  • Add turkey and knead until well mixed.
  • Shape into 1 inch thick, 3 inch long pieces.
  • Heat olive oil in skillet over medium high heat.
  • Place turkey slices into skillet.
  • Cook until the center is no longer pink (8-10 minutes).
  • Add lettuce, tomato and onion as desired.
  • Serve with tzatziki sauce.

  1. This was good, though I felt that the seasonings in the meat were a little too strong. If I made this again, I would have to add in some beef or another ground meat because I thought the turkey was quite dense - just my opinion - DH thought they were great. We had them like burgers on pita "Sammies." I will definately make these again and tweak a little to my tastes. Thanks for posting!
     
  2. This was good! We would add feta cheese to this to make it even better. I also enjoy gyros with garden burgers sliced up inside - but I will use your sauce from now on, it is great! Thanks for sharing!
     
  3. I was dieing for Greek food, this hit the spot. Instead og ground turkey, I sliced, thinley chicken breast. Added seasoning a little olive oil and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours before cooking. YUM!! My dh said to make it the same way again. I certianly will. Thanks!
