This is probably one of my top 5 dishes of all time!! We left out the tomatoes, but otherwise made exactly as stated. I was nervous about the mint being really strong, but it was not at all. Served on Christmas Eve with sliced steak sandwiches and potatoes. Delicious!!!person found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... This is the best Greek salad I have ever made. I did not use the oil and vinegar dressing, but used Farmer Boy's Greek Salad dressing. I used all the spices, garlic and omitted the red pepper flakes. All else was in the salad. I loved the idea of the chopped fresh spinach and as I am trying to be a Weight Watcher it was about 7 points for 2 cups full. Thanks so much. Excellent recipe, my BF and I both enjoyed this with a few low-fat adjustments. Would have been even better had I added all the feta cheese the recipe called for. Oh well, I thought I had plenty left in the fridge. Instead of cutting up the baby spinach I steamed for about 1 minute, added extra vinegar, 1/2 tablespoon oil and 1/2 cup kalamata olives. Going into my quick and tasty cookbook, thanks!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you?
